This small, clean, quiet park boasts a great view of Lake Mead. The park contains a playground for the kids, shade, benches, a gazebo, and a really nice bathroom. It’s a great place to spend a few hours lazing around. There is even a small snack bar that is occasionally open.
The park’s main claim to fame, however, is the large herd of Bighorn sheep that spend a lot of time at the park. They come down from the nearby mountain to graze the smorgasbord of chow provided by the lush, grassy fields and nearby bushes.
They’re friendly, calm, and accustomed to people, so it’s possible to get pretty close to them but not recommended, as they are wild animals. There are even rabbits, quails, hawks, and roadrunners.

Villa St is off the main highway to Hoover Dam. The park can get busy and crowded on the weekends, but is usually pretty quiet during the week, especially early mornings.
