Wilt's 100 at Hersheypark Arena
The Philadelphia Warriors played some of their games at Hersheypark Arena between 1950-1962 as the NBA was working to grow its brand. On March 2, 1962, Warriors star Wilt Chamberlain set one of the most incredible records in sports history when he scored 100 points against the New York Knicks. No other player has ever scored more than 81 points in a game. Of the 11 times players have scored 70 in a game, 6 of those belong to Wilt “The Stilt.” He scored 50 or more points in a game an astonishing 122 times. Michael Jordan is second with 41.
