Joyxee Island is an artificial island by the British artist Richart “Reishee” Sowa. Spiral Island was a forerunner of Joyxee Island, but the 2005 hurricane Emily destroyed it.
A new island contains about 100,000 bottles and held together by, among other things. Thanks mangrove forest.
The new island has three beaches, a house, two ponds, a solar-powered waterfall and river, a wave-powered washing machine and solar panels.
The Mexican Government also recognized Joyxee Island as an “Eco Boat”.
