If you feel like you missed out on the 1920s, then make a stop at Kavárna Lucerna for a coffee or a to die for hot chocolate. Don’t worry, they have a full bar as well and pour very affordable, yet tasty, local beers. The atmosphere is well-worth the visit since the interior conjures up the atmosphere of the first republic of Czechoslovakia, a time when cafe culture reigned in this part of the then democratic world.

If you sit by the window you can directly look at the provocative statue of the upside down horse with Saint Wenceslaus perched upon him hanging from the ceiling.
