The Steamer Trieux is a tourist train, driven by a classic steam locomotive. From May to September visitors can enjoy a journey through time traveling from Paimpol to Pontrieux. The train runs along the river Trieux, following a route completely inaccessible to cars. 

Know Before You Go

The Steamer Trieux starts on June 15  and finishes around mid-September. Special prices for groups and discounted rates are available. You can book trips online, by phone, or in the shop in Paimpol located in the former water tower. Making a reservation is highly recommended.
