Anyone who has traveled within Virginia has most likely come across at least one of the 275+ “LOVEworks” displays, which have been created to show the love for Virginia’s iconic slogan, “Virginia is for Lovers.”

These creative, diverse works of word art come to life as murals and sculptures that come in all shapes and sizes. They have been widely lauded for expanding tourism and exploration into many of Virginia’s less frequented towns, and inspiring the growth of small businesses that benefit from the increased presence of curious wayfarers.

The self-proclaimed Largest LOVE Mural is painted on the side of a building that is directly behind the vaunted NN Burger, known for its creative burgers, ribbon fries, sandwiches, lobster rolls, and massive “Freakshakes.”

Know Before You Go

The Largest LOVE Mural is relatively close to the fascinating Menokin project, which is in nearby Warsaw, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
