Just one of the many wonders near Central Florida’s Econlockhatchee river. This kayak/canoe access includes a trail which follows the bank of this winding and mysterious river. Wild hogs, Bobcats, Water Moccasins, Alligators, and even the occasional Black Bear are just some of the animals you may run into. The Econlockhatchee river is full of history and runs through lands that once belonged to the Seminole Indian tribe. Although there are signs that discourage swimming, current locals have built rope swings and makeshift ladders throughout the trails.
