Lyon Hall Bathrooms
Symmetrical design between men's and women's bathroom sinks lead to surprise encounters.
All is not what it seems in the water closets at this sleek Arlington brasserie.
Upon entering the beautifully tiled and strikingly clean palaces of porcelain, one is immediately greeted by gleaming white, double-width sink troughs topped with fancy fixtures, and a roughly chest-high granite shelf.
Visitors usually don’t notice anything out of the ordinary until they return to wash their hands, at which time one of two startling experiences may occur.
Some are jarred upon realizing that their image is not being reflected back at them even though they are looking at what appears to be a mirror image of the room behind them. Talk about some serious vampire vibes!
Others are baffled to find someone else looking back at them over the granite shelf while using an identical sink on the other side of the shelf in the other half of what is actually a perfectly symmetrical room.
For what it’s worth, the food and drink here are quite good, but whether or not you feel the urge, a quick subterranean jaunt to check out this peculiar potty is a must!
