Magical World of Shells Museum

Discovered this museum by luck while looking up places to visit on a rainy day in Piran. Slovenia has interesting museums dedicated to very specific collections (looking at you, Straw Hat Museum) but the Shell Museum is the most interesting. And for good reason- it’s the largest collection of shells in Slovenia and one of larget shell collections in the world. They explainations are in several languages, and you’ll easily spend a couple hours there. Finish the visit with the giant clam shell photo opp.
