Marsland Water, the stream that divides Devon and Cornwall, drains directly onto Marsland Mouth where you can have a foot in both places at once. The beach is pebbly and requires a long walk to access it so you will likely have the place to yourself. The approach from the road (undriveable except for private access) passes West Mill, an old mill converted to a residence and accommodation. If you feel up to a very long flight of stairs, you can climb up to Ronald Duncan’s hut and rest from the wind for awhile.
