Would you like to time travel for a day? Open the drawers of someone’s nightstand or bathroom cabinet to see how life was back in the 70s? In Hellersdorf, the show apartment from back in the day remained untouched. It serves as an authentic museum, and is often use as film set for movies from the DDR times, such as Good Bye, Lenin!. If you’d like to see for yourself why living in a “Platte” used to be considered luxury opposed to how it’s being perceived today, coming here might be a good start. Please consider the very restricted opening times.
