About

The Myers Dinner Theater harkens back to a period where dinner and the theatre went hand-in-hand.

When you approach this quant theatre in the heart of Fountain County, you are first greeted by the sight of an antique ticket taker booth, manned by a mannequin. Inside is a unique and nostalgic atmosphere, complete with a small water wheel, creaky floors, tiled ceilings and the smell of home-cooked food. Guests enjoy the sights and sounds of Broadway classics while they enjoy their meals.

Donna and Richard Myer have a long history with the theater. They operated dinner theaters in Danville, Illinois and in Waynetown, Indiana before settling down in Hillsboro. Now back in Richard Myer's hometown, it's no wonder attending the theater feels more like a homecoming. Each guest is greeted with a hug and the actors often line up after performances to thank guests for coming.
