About

This enormous boulder near Odda, Norway, weighs around 65,000 tons and stands over 30 meters tall, making it Norway’s largest stone. Deposited by glaciers over 10,000 years ago, it’s not only a geological wonder but also a historic site—early Stone Age people once used the area, known as Skipheller, for shelter. Today, it’s an impressive and easily accessible stop surrounded by dramatic Norwegian nature.
