Pawnshops are a quite common around the world, where very different items can be pawned or sold just to be resold again. Obviously this requires a very wide knowledge of the worth of such things if the owner is to turn a profit. This process has famously been serialized for over a decade in the history channel show ‘Pawnstars’.
The building in which the show takes place is not just a set but an actual pawnshop. Inside you can browse all kinds of goods, some of which are from the show. However, don’t expect to see the Harrison’s behind the counter, as they generally don’t work there anymore. Instead you can find cardboard cutouts of the cast in and around the building, offering a nice photo-op. Besides the many different pawn-items that you can buy, there is also a merchandise corner that offers show related souvenirs.
Know Before You Go
