Pedra da Macela (Macela´s Stone) is located at 1,840 meters of altitude in the border aof the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, respectively, between the municipalities of Cunha and Paraty. At the top of the Stone there is a 360º view of the Cunha region and on clear days we can see the bays of Angra dos Reis, Paraty and Ubatuba, the rock formations and a large stretch of Atlantic forest. The view from above is indescribable, it is worth it, in the winter it is quite cold and also has a very strong wind.
