Home of the Founder of Pottstown, John Potts. The home offers tours and events throughout the year and provides history and background on both the home and the family. The Potts family essentially ran the whole town and controlled most trade and connections between Redding and Philadelphia. The home also served as a hotel/bar until Prohibition when it was shut down and served as a place for people suffering through the Great Depression.
