The Shelburne Museum, located on 45 acres near Lake Champlain, is home to an unusual assortment of Americana–including folk art, quilts, funiture, impressionist paintings, and artifacts from the 17th to 20th century.
The museum is made up of numerous relocated historic structures, including a steamboat, luxury railroad car, lighthouse, covered bridge, antique merry-go-round, and many other historic buildings from around New England and New York.
