Shrine to Shaq, at Core Gaming Retro Gaming Store
Core Gaming is a used retro video game store that gained a cult following among its worldwide customer base. The store’s owner and employees are known for their love of life and quirky sense of humor. While claiming to run for president against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, Matt Hickey, the owner of Core Gaming, has curated a large collection of Shaquille O’Neal memorabilia. What began with a framed and mounted Shaq-Fu Super NES video game cartridge grew to be an obsession with all Shaq related objects. His store now prominently features many rare and unique Shaq artifacts, and claims to be the largest privately owned and publicly displayed collection of Shaq relics in a retro video game store.
