Come for the barbecue, stay for the giant shark teeth! This eatery located just off of I-95 in Midway, Georgia, is most well known for its wide variety of smoked meats, delicious sides, and killer sweet tea.

Hiding in plain sight is an intriguing glass case display dedicated to the exploits of one Bill Eberlein, a former programmer for tech company Gulfstream Aerospace who left for a less time-consuming job as an IT and accounting professor at Savannah Technical College in order to pursue his true passion - S.C.U.B.A. diving.

Eberlein developed a deep interest in diving for shark teeth fossils, particularly the teeth of giant megalodon sharks! His hobby grew between 2001 and 2008 into a full-blown business, and began selling the giant shark teeth he would find during his underwater adventures.

The case sits underneath a formidable looking boar’s head mounted on the wall and it contains magazines and a nice collection of teeth and fossils found by Eberlein during his dives in local rivers and sounds.

Eberlein sells shark fossils and teeth on his website - https://megateeth.com/.

The case is located against the wall on the left side of the restaurant after entering the front door - the same side where the cash registers are located.
