The Freedom Rock (established in 1999) is a large boulder estimated to weigh 60 tons located in rural Iowa that is repainted every year by local Greenfield, Iowa Artist Ray “Bubba” Sorensen II with a different theme for the countries veterans finished just in time for Memorial Day.
