A sculpture created by Richard Hunt to honor the life and times of Ida B. Wells, the anti-lynching crusader, journalist, and human rights activist. The 35-foot granite and bronze monument stands in Bronzeville, a Chicago neighborhood that was once known as the “Black Metropolis.”
