The Old Church of St Boniface

Claiming to be ‘rebuilt in 1070,’ this church feels properly old. It has a cozy rugged feel and a well filled graveyard that’s full of flowers in the spring. It has survived the building of a more modern church close by and continues to be in use to this day.

Know Before You Go

Don't be fooled by Google Maps telling you to go to The Parish Church of St Boniface. Follow Bonchurch Shute past the Parish Church towards the sea. Turn left onto Bonchurch Village Road and then left again when it branches off. There are signs if you look for the 11th Century Church.
