Tucked away in the basement of the Yawkey House at the Marathon County Historical Society, the Wisconsin Valley Model Railroad Club has constructed a working replica of the Wisconsin Valley Railroad Line, which began running through central Wisconsin in 1874. The miniature railroad features recreations of historical buildings, meticulously crafted using old photographs and building plans.
