Thonburi train yard – กทม, Thailand - Atlas Obscura

Next to Siriraj Hospital, the Thonburi train yard is a surprising bonus for photographers. You can wander on to tracks (carefully) and in to the repair yards where old trains (even steam engines) are being maintained. Incredibly no on seems to care if you walk around taking photos, even as trains roll up to the adjacent station.

Know Before You Go

By River Bus, stop N10 (Tha Wang Lang), and then walk to the right behind Siriraj Hospital following the rail tracks.
