This great restaurant, saloon, and small general store/gift shop can be found on the backside of Apache Junction, AZ among the Superstition Mountains. It used to be a stagecoach stop along the Historic Apache Trail. It is billed as the smallest town in Arizona, with a population of six.
Now, it is a great place to have some fine food with friends (and one of the only places I know of that has RC Cola on tap). The inside of the restaurant is decorated with thousands of dollar bills and other currency notes from around the world.
The drive out to Tortilla Flat is quite curvy and is popular with motorcyclists as a result. In summer hours, go early to avoid being stuck behind people hauling boats out to nearby Canyon Lake.
