This small museum makes for an intriguing detour for car-enthusiasts and history-buffs. The Trabi Musuem is dedicated to the DKW Trabant, better known as the Trabi, and its significance to East German auto culture. First produced in 1957, these utilitarian vehicles were manufactured until 1991.
The museum itself showcases models including Campervans, Police Trabants, Military and open-top Trabants, as well as the standard Trabants. For Germans with “Ostalgie,” or a nostalgia for the GDR times, the museum should fit the bill.
Know Before You Go
