Weir Hotsprings
Natural hotsprings in the Clearwater National Forest
Just a short drive from Missoula, MT or Lewiston, ID, Weir Hotsprings is a natural hotsprings situated in the gorgeous Clearwater National Forest. The hike is only approximately 0.4 miles from the trailhead parking lot. The temperature can range from 100-105, depending on the season. There is one large pool that can accommodate around 10 people and a smaller pool that can sit about 4.
Know Before You Go
The spring has a small, easy-to-miss parking lot near mile marker 141 on Highway 12.
It is recommended to bring spikes for winter hiking as the trail is short, but very steep.
Clothing is optional.
The hot springs is pet friendly, but your furry friends should be leashed.
