If you live in Texas or know anything about Texas you know Whataburger is THE place to get a burger here. Founded in Corpus Christi in 1950, the original location is long since gone but the Sparkling City by the Sea still has the most unique location in the entire chain: the only two story example Flagship restaurant with a balcony overlooking Corpus Christi Bay. With roughly 900 locations across 14 states, this Whataburger is nothing like its brothers, sisters, or cousins. 

It has significantly more square footage than any other Whataburger at 6,000 square feet and was built in 1999 to celebrate the chains 50th anniversary. Wide bay views accompany the standard menu of Texas Toast, Patty Melt, and BBQ Ranch Whatachick’n Sandwich. It is open 24/7 to tourists and locals alike.
