Located on the property of the Missouri Quilt Museum, the worlds largest spool of thread was unveiled in 2018 and measures 22 feet tall and eight feet in diameter. There are over 1 million yards of thread on the spool, and growing! Visitors are encouraged to add more thread to the spool to continue adding to its length.

You can bring your own thread or purchase some from the museum.
