Earthship Sázava is the first Earthship by Michael Reynolds in the Czech Republic and the first Earthship in Central Europe (designed for testing in these conditions). Many volunteers participated in the construction of 21 days.

About bulid and subsequent developments of Earthship Sázava narrates documentaries Zeměloď pluje (2012, directed by Viliam Poltikovič, featuring Michael Reynolds and Jaroslav Dušek) and Kam plují české Zemělodě? (2014).

Earthship Sázava includes: conversion of rainwater for drinking water, glass bottles embedded in the walls, self-irrigated greenhouse, solar panels, root sewerage, heating using sun light and other tweaks.
