Trip Leader

Felipe Trigo
Felipe Trigo is a historian, trip guide, and events whiz with a degree in History from Barcelona University. He curates immersive, dynamic itineraries that explore history through the most surprising and hidden elements within the city, such as visits to normally off-limits private collections and houses, hidden bunkers and shelters, and performance events, theatrical tours, concerts, and dinners in the most unusual locations. Inspired by a special devotion to stage arts, Felipe has directed the underground cabaret company Kriminal Kabarett since 2011. For the past five years, he has served as co-director for Hendrick’s Congress for Curious People in Spain. He has been creating and leading trips for Atlas Obscura since 2018, welcoming travelers to discover the myths and mysteries of Barcelona, Rome, and soon Andalucia and Tuscany.

Additional Info

Pricing

The cost of this trip is $4,430 per person, based on three to five travelers, and double occupancy at a four-star hotel during low season. Hotel prices can increase during high season, which will influence the cost of the trip depending on your dates. For a single occupancy room, there will be a supplement (the exact rate will vary depending on seasonality). If you're interested in taking this trip for two people or a private group larger than five, please inquire for pricing and availability.

Accommodations

The starting per person price is based on six nights of double-accommodation at Hotel Regina (four stars) or a location of equivalent quality. If you're interested in a different level or style of accommodation, we'd be happy to discuss options and price points.

Activity Level

Travelers should be comfortable staying on their feet for long stretches at a time and walking between two to three miles over the course of a day. While we can tailor the pace and activity level to your group, we'll be out and about for much of each day, with time to rest at lunch and dinner, both of which take place on the later side in Barcelona.
