The Eternal City is full of secrets. Beyond the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain is an even more wondrous and mysterious metropolis. Join us as we go beneath Rome’s streets and behind its locked doors to explore hidden and overlooked places, witnessing a capital city that most tourists rarely experience—strange, magical, and filled with intrigue. We’ll have unique access to restricted crypts and catacombs, a private palazzo and a cabinet of curiosities. We’ll shine a spotlight on the surprises scattered above and beneath the city, revealing a side of Rome that you’ve never seen before.
We recommend you have a medium fitness level to fully participate in this trip. You should be comfortable staying on your feet for long stretches at a time, and walking anywhere between 2 to 4 miles a day. We will be out and about most of each day, with time to rest at lunch and dinner, both of which will take place on the later side.
You should aim to arrive in Rome on Monday, March 30 by 4 p.m., and depart anytime on Sunday, April 5. If you decide to extend your stay, your guides will be only too happy to suggest additional activities for you.
