Hello/Marhaba/Shalom! I'm Alexandra, presently a Jerusalemite where I live with my husband and a lot of street cats in Abu Tor, a hilly neighborhood south of the Old City. Growing up as the daughter of a Foreign Service Officer, I moved every few years, usually to hot places where I refused to wear shoes. Not much has changed since then - over the past 10 years I have lived and worked in Egypt, Qatar, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, and now Israel/Palestine. I work as an economic development consultant and analyst by day, and try to pair my work with as much exploration as I can.
