Historical Research student interested in the history of mental health and media portrayal of mental illness. I've spent too much time wandering around derelict buildings, including asylums. Now I've begun to pass it all of as something official.
I'm a devoted mycophile and budding mycophagist and forager. I spend inordinate amounts of time wandering round and round woodland being surprised by fungi. I spend even more time ambling around the countryside looking at buildings, particularly churches.
My figurative and illogical desert island luxury would be a Pevsner Guide. Other things I like are: old books, sea shanties, jungle drum and bass, pints of bitter and Ordnance Survey maps.
