I have been a professor of environmental geography, geographic education, and the geography of Latin America at Bridgewater State University since 1997. Much of my teaching revolves around the geography of coffee, and I help to coordinate Project EarthView, which brings a 20-foot portable globe classroom to schools, conferences, and even our state capitol.
When I am not taking students to coffee farms in Nicaragua, I can be found visiting vineyards with my wife or rowing whaleboats in New Bedford Harbor.
