In St. Peter’s Square, you will do your best Da Vinci Code impression as we search for the symbols hiding throughout the monumental complex, before heading to St. Peter’s Basilica. You will then visit the Jewish Ghetto, where you will learn about Hebrew culinary traditions, and taste historic dishes such as carciofi alla giudia, or deep-fried artichoke, followed by a refreshing gelato. You will have a few hours to explore (or relax) at your leisure before we regroup for dinner. Watch the sunset over Rome from the roof terrace of a very special private historic residence in the Navona neighborhood, and enjoy a cooking demonstration by our gracious local hostess that showcases the best of contemporary Roman cuisine.
