Path of totality
The Path of Totality—where you can experience the eclipse in full—is quite narrow, and our festival site near Hot Springs National Park is one of the few places in the country to offer both a full viewing while also providing world-renowned musical performances, state-of-the-art classes, and an outstanding campground. There won't be another opportunity to see this rare cosmic phenomena within the continental US for the next 20 years.

valley of the Vapors
Now in its 20th year, Valley of the Vapors (VOV) is an international underground music festival that typically takes place each March in Hot Springs National Park. Since 2005, VOV has been bringing innovative performers from the global music and art communities to Hot Springs.
A CELEBRATION OF COSMIC PROPORTIONS
Over the course of four days, we’ll come together to celebrate this rare astronomical event with an all-out festival of wonder featuring celebrated scientists, legendary musicians, curated vendors, artists and explorers culminating with the Total Eclipse itself—3.5 minutes of otherworldly midday darkness.

Stay
You’ll have a lot to choose from if you move quickly. On the grounds of the festival you can reserve a bring-your-own-tent camping spot and RV spot. Hot Springs hotels look like they’re filling up online but there is availability if you call (yes, on the phone! Old school.) And within easy daily commuting distance there are a ton of hotels in and around Little Rock and the surrounding communities.
