Enthusiastic Adventure Nerds Wanted: Atlas Obscura is hiring in Denver!
We are looking for adventure planners for the Denver Obscura Society chapter to help us develop new programming and create plans for bigger, better explorations into the hidden and strange places all around us.
We’ll be hiring for part-time, per-event paid positions.
Society Chapters are the official real-world outposts of Atlas Obscura, in which we run a regular program of local explorations designed to reveal the hidden gems of the state and get enthusiastic locals and our readers off the computer and out exploring.
Field Agents will be responsible for seeking out and hosting local exploration opportunities monthly such as tours, talks and expeditions or charters further afield.
We are seeking an enthusiastic adventure nerd who understands and loves what Atlas Obscura is about and would like to help bring it to life in Colorado. Field Agents must be able to work independently and be creative.
A love and knowledge of Colorado, its hidden wonders and strange histories, a desire to find out more and share it with others. Computer and Internet access adequate for working remotely. Must be able to get around your local environment in a timely matter to attend meetings and events.
To apply, please email your resume and a short cover letter detailing your interest and qualifications for the role to [email protected].
