Located in the historic Noblesville Square, right next to the Old Courthouse, is the Hamilton County Museum.
Constructed in 1876, the Museum includes the former sheriff’s residence and jail that operated until 1977. It once held a few notorious inmates such as, Charles Manson and former Klu Klu Klan leader, DC Stephenson.
Rumors claim that the jail, with its decaying graffiti-covered walls and rusting metal gates, is very much haunted.
