South American artist Bruno Torf’s eclectic sculpture garden near Melbourne began with 15 life-sized terra cotta sculptures set in sub-alpine forests, and a gallery of smaller artwork. In 2009, the sculptures just barely survived devastating local fires, while the artist’s home and gallery were completely destroyed. Today the collection is being rebuilt with a new gallery.
