I'm a 40 something wife, mother and grandmother who dreamed of being a travel writer but who became a business professional instead. Wanderlust is in my blood- but I don't want to see the Eiffel Tower- or go where everyone else is going- I want to go to the places I have never heard of... eat with the locals- and savor the experiences that most overlook (like the active excavation of Roman ruins I found on my way to a bathroom in Florence).
