Paul Dailing
I'm a journalist, writer and tour guide who's using a seven-year-old picture on this because it makes me look all adventure-y. (I was covering the funeral of Thai Princess Galyani Vadhana for the Agence France-Presse.)
I've hung out with armed soldiers in Cambodia, volunteered on dinosaur digs in Wyoming (found a triceratops femur!), traveled by train through Azerbaijan and done various oddities throughout the world. I currently work and live in Chicago, where I'm a docent on Shoreline Sightseeing boats and write 1,001 Chicago Afternoons, a modern take on the 1920s Chicago Daily News column "1001 Afternoons in Chicago" by Ben Hecht.
I do things.
