About

This seaside is also called Shiose Cape. Named in 1995, Godzilla Rocks looks just like the monster Godzilla. The most prominent feature is the "mouth," which, when aligned just right with the setting sun, looks like Godzilla breathing fire.

The rock itself is a lapilli tuff, the product of a long-past volcanic eruption.
