Walking into this museum is like entering another world, where every glance takes you to another sticker. Once visitors realize the history and various uses for stickers, it’ll be hard not to spot one everywhere you go after leaving this museum.

Tucked away in the basement of one of the world’s largest sticker stores, the History of Stickers Museum is filled with unique tidbits of information on this combo of paper and adhesives. The museum covers the history of stickers dating back to the early 18th century. Much of the collection focuses on the role stickers have played in activism and as cultural symbols.

Stickers: RePEELed is a sticker art show that accompanies the History of Stickers Museum. It’s a colorful compilation of various forms of original sticker art from artists across the globe, including heavy-hitters such as Shepard Fairey and Matthew Hoffman.

The exhibit was curated by Dave and Holly Combs, the publishers of Peel Magazine, a zine dedicated to stickers.  Entrance is free, and the museum and exhibition are open during store hours.
