On the road between Futuroscope and Poitiers you’ll find this museum of popular things—cars, strollers, puppets, signs, circus wagons, and even a helicopter. Located in three halls and an idyllic outside area, it is a photographer’s dream come true.

The collection for the Musée chez Manuel as it is also known is 55 years in the making and the owner is still acquiring new stuff, so we haven’t seen the end of it yet. In some places, it seems that stuff has just been put wherever there was some space left. In other areas, items have been arranged and decorated thematically, for example the school, the butcher, or the circus wagon.
