Situated just outside the city center, this relaxing art gallery is often overlooked by tourists. The Museum Of Modern Art Dubrovnik was originally constructed as a family mansion by Dubrovnik ship owner, Božo Banac. The mansion was built between 1935-1939 and converted into a museum and artspace around 1945.
Inside, around 3,000 works of modern art from an array of Croatian artists are spread across three floors. Artwork from the likes of Vlaho Bukovac, Emanuel Vidović, and Mirko Rački are featured throughout the museum.
