Taylor Prayer Chapel
Farmersburg, Indiana
The chapel welcomes anyone and everyone to visit
Add your name & anything else
This chapel is hidden on the side of a highway, below a hill and next to a lake that is typically covered in a thick layer of algae ( it is actually quite fascinating). The pee-wee chapel is open all the time whether it is used for a quick prayer or a restful stop to take a break from a long drive.
Inside there are rows of seats, a dial to change the heating/cooling, a CD player with various options of melodies and a guest book.
Although the use of the chapel is up to the visitor it is dedicated to those who were lost in automobile accidents as referenced in the lovely book ‘All the Bright Places’.
Know Before You Go
The chapel is located on the right side of the road heading north, on the side of Molly's Antiques and collectables!
