The location of this secret tomb is detailed in “The Secret History of the Mongols” written by an anonymous author some time after Genghis Khan’s death in 1227. The book contains 12 chapters with allegorical references to landmarks in Southeast Asia, primarily Mongolia. The location of the tomb was also hidden in various pieces of artwork in the following decades and centuries, most notably in the work of Kamal ud-Din Behzad, a Persian painter who lived from 1450-1535. Know Before You Go

The Genghis Khan statue in London is designed to mirror the location in the Gobi Desert, as you can see. Genghis Khan is depicted with his arms out, as is the case in the images of the paintings. A case can also be made for this location being the secret burial place of Alexander the Great as well.
