Saint Petersburg

Petersburg) is the second most populated city in Russia. It is a city of federal significance and the administrative centre of the North-western Federal District.
Tsar Peter founded it on May 16, 1703. Between 1714 and 1728 and 1732 and 1918, it was the capital of the Russian state.
