I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, lived many places in the eastern U.S., and now have lived in Hong Kong for six years. I am an architectural historian, and I have a book on east/west interaction in Canton (Guangzhou), China, with Hong Kong University Press, titled Enclave to Urbanity: Canton, Foreigners, and Architecture from the late Eighteenth to early Twentieth Centuries. I love travel and hope to contribute to the site at some point.
